I recommend Smile Again Denture Cleaner. It’s the only denture cleaner that I could find that doesn’t damage bite guards. I leave my bite guard in the water with the cleaner for 16 hours with no problem. I only use the water once, rather than for a full week like they suggest. I use it once a month rather than daily like they suggest. Using the water only once and doing it only once a month are the instructions my dentist recommended when I got my bite guard. It works great. I also brush my bite guard with toothpaste every day. My husband has a bite guard, too, and he never brushes it or cleans it, and he does just fine.
